What happens for example in GT7 if I set the max torque to 5/10 and on the wheel I set it to say 5 nm? Does this mean the effective max torque would be 2.5 nm?

I'm honestly thinking about cutting my losses with my g pro wheel and starting over with a high end asutek or other. It'll be 3-4 years before logitec gets anything together, if at all.

Hello, thank you for the video, it was very helpful. But I see that my brake pedal is flickering when pressed. Is it a common situation for these pedals or kinda bug? When I brake and keep the pressure somewhere in the middle, it can move significantly, while the foot stays stable and pressure is quite consistent.

Nice video! Have you looked at your brake traces before and after to spot any difference that might affect performance in the game? I imagine a smoother actiation and ability to trail brake at low pressure could help.

I just got one of these. Coming from the Logitech shifter, this one is awesome, it feels really good. You get precise physical feedback of exactly when it goes into/out of gear. It just feels very nice to use. The sequential adapter is also very nice and simple. In itself, it is cheaper than the Logitech one, for me it cost a little bit more but only because of the table mount. My only problem is that it's a bit loud.

Most detailed I’ve seen so far. I’m definitely part of the target audience for this product as I have the T300RS base with T-LCM pedals and the TH8-A shifter and Sparco R383 wheel. Also have the original GT wheel and the T3P-GT pedals the T300RS GT bundle came with. I’ve been debating upgrading to the T818 selling the T300RS GT with the original wheel and pedals while retaining my other Thrustmaster gear, but given the several cons with build quality, I feel I should just buy once, cry once and upgrade to an endgame Simagic, Simucube or Asetek base with Simagic, Heusinkveld, or Asetek pedals as Active Pedals are too rich for my blood.

This is so stupid, you can literally mount the wheel and shifter over a normal mouse mat lol

just went through this with my simucube 2 pro, and HTC vive pro 2 (using original vive 1 base stations) The chokes helped a little, but not much. The fix for me along with the chokes, was the base station positioning. I had them mounted on my 8020 rig above my monitors. This put my wheel between my headset and base stations, although lower than direct line of sight, I believe the magnetic field put up a wall between the stations and HMD when outputting high torque. I moved them to the walls, to the left and right of the headset and experienced no more grey outs

Finally I can use my mouse behind my gear stick! ;)

As this handbrake has the same rj connector that fanatec uses on its wheelbase for its handbrake. Would it work if it was plugged directly into a fanatec dd base ?
